Infographic: Facebook’s Global Dominance

When it comes to Facebook-audience size, the U.S., Germany and India are on top; but when you look at Facebook market penetration, it’s an entirely different story. According to a report from ComScore, the top two markets for Facebook by percent reach are the Philippines with Facebook reaching 93.5 percent of all Web users there and Turkey with Facebook reaching 92.5 percent of users. What is very notable, however, is the predominance of market penetration in Latin America. Five out of the top 10 Facebook markets by percent reach are in Latin America. Chile came in third with Facebook reaching 90.9 percent of all online users there. Latin America is becoming an important player when it comes to social media.
