Agencies R/GA London and Innocean headline the 2014 Digiday Awards finalists, combining for five total nominations.
The awards highlight the industry’s best campaigns, creative, and advertisers who drive the brightest ideas and lead innovation to push the industry to new levels.
Innocean USA was nominated for a total of three 2014 Digiday Awards: The Walking Dead Chop Shop App for Hyundai Motor America (Best Brand Platform and Best Branding Campaign – Consumer), as well as Hyundai Blind Test Drive (Best Direct Response Campaign).
Innocean’s The Walking Dead activation for Hyundai was recognized for its innovative use of a mobile application. Their Chop Shop App, which featured three Hyundai models and over 700 custom parts, gave viewers the opportunity to create their own zombie survival car stocked with weapons to withstand a zombie apocalypse. The campaign resonated with The Walking Dead fans and has shown a steady growth of engagement since its launch, totaling over 460,000 downloads.
R/GA London was recognized as a finalist in two categories: Beats Music in Best Brand Platform, as well their Google Outside campaign in Best Creative.
Critical Mass was the only other agency to nab multiple finalist nods, with work in the Best Creative and Best Publishing Platforms categories.
The full list of finalists is available on the 2014 Digiday Awards site. The winners for all categories will be announced at the Digiday Awards Gala at Highline Ballroom in New York City, November 5, 2014. We hope to see you there!
