Digiday welcomes new additions in editorial, sales and business operations

Digiday is growing. We’ve recently added to our ranks in editorial, sales content studio and in the United Kingdom.

In editorial, we’re expanding our coverage to focus on video, one of the fastest growing parts of digital media. Eric Blattberg has joined us as a staff writer, focusing on the growth of video platforms like Hulu and YouTube, as well as the video efforts of other publishers. We’ve also added to our sales team, welcoming Patrick Polk as vp of sales. He comes to Digiday from Gartner, where he where he led sales for their IT and Tech division. He will be our sales leader for Publishing, Events, and Content Studio. You can email Patrick here.

In our Content Studio, we’ve hired Jeff Koyen as managing editor. Jeff has experience on the production and editorial side of various publications including New York Press, Forbes Travel and Travel + Leisure. He’s also had some start up experience launching Assignmint, a workflow software for writers and editor. Email Jeff here.

Finally, in London, we’ve hired Martin Belk to head up business development, sales, and partnerships for all our Summits and events in the region. Previously he was at Atlantic Leap and AdMonsters, where he ran their UK and European events business. Martin can be reached here.
