Schick wants to help ladies upgrade their lives with a new Facebook app and giveaway contest.
To promote its new “hydro silk” razor, with the help of JWT New York, Schick has introduced an interactive Facebook app called Razorvention Revamp, which encourage women to upgrade things in their lives, starting with their razors and moving on to bigger things. Using the app, women can enter into daily giveaway contests that involve uploading creative images along with a description about why they deserve that days’ upgrade giveaway. Upgrade prizes include high-end items like Cosabellalingerie, a Henri Bendel necklace, and a grand prize of a spa getaway and a shopping spree. One catch is that users must like Schick on Facebook in order to enter the daily giveaways via the app.
