Seven passes left to attend the Digiday Publishing Summit

Vox Media won the Judges’ Choice Publisher of the Year award from Digiday’s Publishing Awards, which honor overall excellence and breakthrough achievement in digital publishing, branded content and advertising technology.
The judges distinguished Vox Media as the most innovative publisher this year, crediting CEO Jim Bankoff for the publisher’s smart use of native advertising and overall methodical expertise in using SB Nation as a starting-off point for the Verge and Polygon, growing the business in a smart way.
AOL took home multiple awards for its efforts with Makers.com, which won Best Editorial Achievement by a Publisher and Best Use of Video by a Publisher, as well as Best Use of Mobile by a Publisher for its Moviefone app. Meanwhile, The Huffington Post took home the award for Best Branded Content Integration by a Publisher.
The Publishing Awards were presented last night at an event in New York hosted by Paul Kotonis, chairman of The International Academy of Web Television.
