Roku, Nielsen, Twitch and more are nominees for the Digiday Technology Awards
Industry heavyweights including Roku, Nielsen, Twitch, Adobe, AT&T and more are nominees for the Digiday Technology Awards. Now in their fifth year, the Digiday Technology Awards recognize the technology modernizing media and marketing.
This year, Vox Media, inMarket and Savings United lead the pack with three nominations each.
Digital media publisher Vox Media is nominated for Best Video Marketing And Advertising Platform and Best Display and Programmatic Advertising Platform for Concert, and Best Content Management System for Chorus. Previously Chorus and Concert were only internal to Vox, but in July 2018, Vox Media began licensing them to other premium digital publishers and studio partners.
Location-based marketing tech platform inMarket is in the running for Best Mobile Marketing Platform, Best Native Advertising Platform and Best Location-Based Platform. InMarket’s location-tracking SDK is integrated into 800 lifestyle and couponing apps, including Epicurious and List Ease, a shopping list app. The data gleaned from these types of apps allows advertisers to target customers based on their user activity.
Savings United, the Berlin-based voucher code company, is up for Best Marketing Automation Platform, Best E-Commerce for Content Platform and Best Sales Automation Tools and Platform. The agency connects advertisers to audiences through voucher codes embedded on publisher websites. It counts news outlets such as The New York Post, The Independent, and The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung among its clients.
The winners will be announced at the Digiday Winter Awards gala, to be held in New York City in the fall. Finalists will be notified when tickets to the gala are available for purchase.
