Comcast announced this month that it would be tripling the size of its social media department in order to push part of its customer service online. But it’s its call center that’s been in the spotlight for cringe-worthy calls that went viral in the past year. One representative gives us an anonymous, inside look at what it’s like on the other end of the 1-800-COMCAST line. A tip for customers? Be nice. “If you’re degrading me and being awful to me, why would I want to help you?”
