The Digiday Awards honor the people and companies modernizing the media and marketing industries. As Digiday’s penultimate awards program, the Digiday Awards recognize the top work across the industry from campaigns and creative to the innovative brands, agencies and publishers. The Digiday Awards honor the best the media and marketing world has to offer.

    Awarding the best mobile-based advertising campaign with a purpose to deliver a brand message.

    Awarding the best use of social media to engage fans, create loyalty, build an audience and tell brand stories across social platforms.

    Awarding the best campaign to build awareness, drive donations or promote social good.

  • Best Creative

    Awarding the best use of digital canvas to deliver a powerful creative communication and engagement for a brand using one or more digital advertising platforms.

  • Best Brand Platform

    Awarding the best new or improved digital brand building platform or technology to deliver brand communications, content, or advertising through online, social, mobile, video or digital publishing technology.

    Awarding the best publishing technology platform that helps publishers improve their business through better advertising, content delivery, measurement, or content distribution and discovery.

    Awarding the agency that best displays a creative approach to client briefs and excellence in client collaboration demonstrated by measurable results.

Judging Criteria

The judges will be looking for companies or campaigns that can clearly demonstrate success over the past 12 months. We suggest providing evidence to substantiate your entries including, but not limited to, metrics around KPIs, creative assets, links to your work or other items you feel speak to the quality of your submission. Judges will also consider the structure, presentation and clarity of each entry.

Each section of the entry will be scored based on the following criteria:

- Creativity

- Innovative thinking

- Consumer value

- Results related to KPIs

Entries should relate to business conducted from January 2017-July 2018.

The Judging Process

1. Judges score each question within the entry form based on the outlined criteria.

2. These are then combined to create an overall score for each entry.

3. All judges' scores are totaled and the highest scoring entries will determine the shortlist.

4. Judges meet to discuss the highest scoring entries and then agree on the category winner.

The shortlist will be announced in September, 2018. The winners will be announced at the awards gala held in November, 2018.


All material will remain confidential to the judges, who are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Winning case studies may be used in post-event materials to promote best practice and permission will be sought from entrants before publishing these. Judges are not allowed to judge any entries submitted on behalf of their company.
