Description

Digiday is looking for a Marketing Manager who handles our event, publishing, content marketing strategies, communications and activities. They will be responsible for developing and implementing ongoing campaigns to drive both audience engagement and lead generation that drives revenue for our business units. The marketing manager will join a fast-paced, highly driven team that’s passionate about building the next great media company. The position will report to our head of sales and marketing.

Duties Include:

• Ideas and implementation of a marketing strategy for new and existing products.
• Implementation of a marketing strategy that includes digital marketing, PR, video, social, email and events both internal and external.
• Help evolve of our digital assets – including websites, social media, online video and email.
• Online lead generation via content marketing and direct response.
• Development and coordination of key corporate, academic and association partnerships.
• Works closely with the group’s sales team by providing appropriate tools, materials and presentations that allow them to meet their sales objectives.
• Works with management team and the creative team as well as external vendors and freelancers.
• Developing and implementing research programs and audience surveys to help drive sales by providing audience insights and noting trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of marketing experience
• Bachelors’ degree or higher
• Excellent copy and creative writing skills
• Strong analytic skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work with a team and take individual initiative
• Detail oriented and organized
• Ability to multitask and set priorities
• Experience with media and events
• Collaboratively and independently generate ideas and creative ways to develop revenue streams from clients and engagement with audience
• Proficient with WordPress, Google Analytics, social media and other software/technology relevant to the role.
