Description: 

Pulsepoint is seeking a strategic Vice President who can oversee and enhance the operational success of our clients’ campaigns. The VP provides strategic thought leadership on campaign optimization processes and best practices, through the direct management of both our Operational and Account Management teams.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Online Advertising Industry and a strong understanding of exchange-based media buying space.  The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork, ownership, initiative and integrity.  They will be high energy and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to react to changing priorities.
Specific Responsibilities:

Provides leadership and direction to the Account Management team with regards to successful and strategic client interaction and organic account growth.
Optimizes performance and maximizes ROI across multiple accounts.
Serves as an expert on all aspects of programmatic media optimization activities.  Streamlining internal processes and fostering an atmosphere of efficiency.
Oversees the successful execution of new RTB integrations.
Works closely with Product and Analytics teams to inform direction & priorities based on market feedback as well as ensuring that all elements necessary to successfully deliver campaigns are properly executed.
Monitor campaign performance, discrepancies and work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues (e.g. prioritizing bugs/fixes).
Serve as a point of escalation for campaign, strategic, and relationship challenges.
Interfaces with clients to handle escalated issues and to identify and deliver new solutions in a collaborative fashion.
Owns traffic and domain quality initiatives across the organization, keeping others strategically informed with reporting and enhancement recommendations.

Requirements: 

8+ years of campaign/client management experience in online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce, strong understanding of RTB and exchange-based media buying preferred
Knowledge of the programmatic media business and underlying internet technologies
Experience with scheduling, trafficking and managing campaigns on DSP platforms.
Experience with advanced digital Ad Serving technology (e.g. Atlas, MediaMind, AppNexus)
Experience with data and measurement vendors (e.g. BlueKai, eXelate, DataLogix)
Demonstrated success in campaign optimization based on client feedback as well as inference from internal tools
Excellent communication and writing skills
Strong analytical skills: must be comfortable working with and presenting sophisticated metrics and analyses across all levels , utilizing MS Excel and Powerpoint
