Best single branded content video with a purpose of branding, advertising, promotion, education, entertainment, engagement, or driving sales among its consumers.

Best Brand Video Series

Best branded video web series with a purpose of branding, advertising, promotion, education, entertainment, engagement, or driving sales among its consumers.

Best Multi-Platform Video Campaign

Best advertising campaign integrated through two or more video channels such as online, social, mobile, email, out-of-home, TV or other video platforms with a purpose of branding, advertising, promotion, education, entertainment, engagement, or driving sales among its consumers.

Best Social Video Campaign

Best branded social video campaign with a purpose of branding, advertising, promotion, education, entertainment, engagement, or driving sales among its consumers that is integrated across Facebook, Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, or other social platforms.

Best Brand Video Destination or Channel

Best branded video content destination with a purpose of branding, advertising, promotion, education, entertainment, engagement, or driving sales among its consumers. As example, the destination or channel may be the brand's website, YouTube channel, Vine or Snapchat account, or other video channel.

Best Video Ad

An in-stream or in-banner video ad for branding or direct response with a purpose of branding, advertising, promotion, education, entertainment, engagement, or driving sales among its consumers.

Best Video Ad Network

The best existing, new or improved video ad network platform for advertisers and publishers. The network can include one or more of the following video platforms: online, social, mobile, email, out-of-home, or other video platforms.

Best Video Distribution Platform

The best existing, new or improved video syndication platform to deliver branded video across the web and other platforms.

Best Video Platform for Brands

The best online consumer video platform for brands and marketers to promote, distribute, and/or syndicate their branded video content and advertising campaigns.

Breakout Mobile App for Brands

The best new or improved consumer mobile app with current or potential support for brands and marketers to promote, distribute, and/or syndicate their branded video content and advertising campaigns in online, social, mobile, email, out-of-home, or any other digital distribution channels.

Best Video Advertising Agency or Partner

The best advertising, media, and creative agency that develops and executes video content marketing and advertising campaigns in paid, owned and earned media.

Best Video Ad Tech Innovation

The best new or improved video technology innovation to deliver, traffic, measure or support video content, branded content or video advertising campaigns. The video technology support any of the following media: online, social, mobile, email, out-of-home, TV or other video platforms.

Best Advertiser in Video

The best brand and advertiser using digital video for branding, advertising, marketing, direct response and/or PR.

Best Video Publisher Partner for Brands

The best publisher for brands to partner with to develop and produce native advertising campaigns, support video ads. This includes integration across multiple platforms to promote a brand, product or service to consumers or an audience.

Entry Information

Below is a list of the items you will need in order to complete your Digiday Video Awards Entry, we recommend saving a back-up file:

  1. Submitter information (i.e. the entering company's name, address, website, etc. )
  2. Primary submitter contact information (i.e. the point person for all entry details.)
  3. Answers to the 5 Entry Questions below (word limits apply.)
  4. Hi-res brand/product logo (Hi-res logo of the agency and brand/product for the campaign you are nominating. (Accepted file types: eps)
  5. Supporting materials for entry

Entry questions

We suggest that you make your answers as succinct as possible. Judges appreciate concise, revealing entries! Word limits are not the suggested length - it is the maximum allowable length for each answer.

  1. Who/what was the client/brand/product/service that was the focus of the campaign?
  2. Describe the end-user client, what they do, and the industry that they serve.
  3. What were the goals of the campaign?
  4. What challenges did the team have to overcome?
  5. How did the campaign perform? What were the results? Please quantify and be as specific as possible.

JUDGING CRITERIA

The judges will be looking for companies or campaigns that can clearly demonstrate transparent success over the past 12 months. Our judges are seeking companies or campaigns that have seized challenges and created opportunities.

Judges will require evidence to substantiate all entries and this could include details of financial performance, results in terms of KPI, creative evidence in terms of sizzle reel, still images, or links to the final project. The judges will also consider the structure, presentation and clarity of each entry.

Entries should relate to business conducted from May 2014– August 2015.

THE JUDGING PROCESS

Judges will read and pre-score all entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. Judges will be asked to give a score for each question within the entry form relating to Digiday's four criteria: innovation, creativity, consumer value, and results. These will be combined to give an overall score for each entry. All judges pre-scores will then be combined and the highest scoring entries will determine the shortlists.

Judges will meet to discuss the highest scoring entries and then agree the winner for each category. The shortlists will be announced October 2015. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony January 2016.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All material will remain confidential to the judges, who are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Winning case studies may be used in post-event materials to promote best practice and permission will be sought from entrants before publishing these.
